Cine Holiday - Nápoly

The hotel was in the perfect location to the station. The owners were very attentive. Being a solo female traveller I felt very welcome, safe and well looked after. Will definitely use this hotel again.

The location of this hotel close to the main train station makes it a good base for exploring Naples. Each room has a movie star decor - we got Marilyn Monroe. There were actually two rooms: a larger one with a double bed and a television and a smaller one with a single bed and a refrigerator. Each of the two rooms had a balcony with a scenic view of the air conditioners across the road. The bathroom was a bit tight, but clean and functional. The hotel is on a side street without much traffic, so we were not bothered by the street noise. The English- speaking owner and staff are attentive, helpful and very friendly, particularly towards children. With the exception of the tea, the breakfast was the best of any budget hotel that we stayed in in Italy. Internet is free and, despite the fact that we were told that it only works in the lobby, we got usable reception in our room.

The single bed was not a real bed, but a folding metal contraption. It had some similarity with a hammock, low in the middle and higher at the ends. Although one could get "tea" for breakfast, it was never more than lukewarm. They should invest in a separate hot water kettle for making tea, rather than trying to heat it with their espresso machine.

Friendly reception, assist us to get the luggage up and inside the room. Breakfast was good. Home made cookies..location was few mins to the main train station.

No wifi in the room, have to move the common area for access.

The location is next to the station-2minute walk. We felt safe in the hotel, you need to be buzzed in and there is always someone on reception. The surrounding area was abit scary at night. Hotel is great, staff are amazing and very helpful with maps, things to do etc. there is shopping and restaurants surrounding hotel. Very good location if planning day trips to Pompeii and Amalfi as so close to station.

Internet did not work in the bedrooms but was good connection in the breakfast room where you can sit anytime to use the Internet.

Everything is fine. Staffs are very kind and helpful. Breakfast is wonderful.

Sometimes a little bit noise if the room is at the street side.

The hotel is close to the railway station which is good staff were helpful its good value for a city centre hotel

Great stuff, one really fells confortable. They are a family running this innovative place. special thanks for the mother and son who where really attentious.

I stayed in the Room 4. The fact that there is no internet connection in the bedrooms would make my stay complete. The shower hose was broken (hose-head) and despite of that being a little annoying, it wastes water, pressure and money. The sockets on the walls need a look.

The location was nice, in between the tourist destinations and the central train station (the station is also the drop off point for the airport shuttle bus). The staff were particularly friendly, breakfast was included (in what was the cheapest hotel we found) and it was one of the better hotels we stayed in across Europe, best value for money definitely! The room had good blackout shutters if you wanted to sleep in.

There is no such thing as each room being dedicated for a particular actor. The entrance is a little sleazy....

The staff were wonderful. They make the best cappacino in Italy. The location is useful as it is close to the train and monuments are in walking distance. Some tourist operators use the train station as a collection point.

The area the hotel is in isn't the nicest. The shower is very small. Some maintenance is required on the showers and I found the air con took a long time to warm the room. The hotel and rooms are accessed by stairs so not suitable for people with mobility issues. The wifi is only available in the common areas.

The owner of the hotel, the lady was very kind and helpful. Our room was full of Penelope Cruz pictures and it was very nice. She let us have the breakfast in the room. The breakfast is very rich comparing to other hotels in Napoli. It is situated just near Train station which is not very convenient

Room was clean, nicely decorated, and very spacious. Great price / quality ratio. However, I would not call it "Fabulous" with over 8.5 rating. Staff was helpful with my bags; I arrived early, left my bags by the reception and they took them into my room once it was ready!

Breakfast was supposed to be ready by 7 AM; when I came down at 7:05 it was not ready and the staff said to wait 5 minutes. When I walked with a tea mug at 7:15, the staff rudely said "2 minutes, please!" This is a train station hotel; some guests are planning to catch early trains!! I finally started my breakfast at 7:25 AM. So why did I get up at 6:30 again? So I could wait for hotel staff preparing my breakfast for 20 minutes? The train station is about 10 minutes walk; slightly more when you are hauling bags. Staff should be aware and compassionate about this. Shower drainage was clogged. When you take 5 minutes shower the shower base would begin to overflow. The door lock was loose; took some effort to lock and unlock. This is a nice hotel with great price / quality ratio, but I would not call it 8.6 - FABULOUS hotel, even with the price considered.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. As a woman traveling alone in Napoli they provided many suggestions and made me feel safe. Basic room and comfort but great for the price and close to everything.

Good location close to the train station and within walking distance of the city center. Clean and secure.

We stayed in the winter and found the place very cold. There was either no or minimal heat in the room, the tile floors, and recessed windows that blocked sunlight all contributed to keep the room quite uncomfortable even on warmer December days. Our room also smelled a bit moldy. Overall, the place seems overrated on Booked.net -- it's not bad, but there are better deals in this area (try Mercury around the corner!).
